- Young Influencers Sharing the Gospel on Instagram | 30A Senior Portraits
Why is it so important for today's teens to share in the gospel? Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. – 1 Timothy 4:12 As a photographer in Santa Rosa Beach, I love working with High School Seniors and teens, both locally and those visiting on vacation. 30A Florida is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the US and the Emerald Coast provides tranquil moments. Today on the blog I am excited to feature Miss Kaeden, from Shoreline Church in Destin. She is one of the 30A VYBZ Young Influencers sharing the gospel on Instagram. It’s no secret that Instagram is quickly becoming the go-to platform for the younger generation to connect, share, and create. With its easy-to-use interface, users are able to access a wide range of digital content to interact with in real time. This makes it the perfect platform for young influencers to reach out and share the gospel of Instagram. Young influencers have the unique ability to use their on-platform status to start conversations, create engaging content without spending too much money, and spread their personal beliefs and thoughts to a pool of potential followers. With Instagram’s help, these influencers have an amplified reach that allows them to reach multiple audiences and draw attention to their work and messages. Recently, young influencers, such as Christian IG Influencer, Luke Lezon (@lukelezon), have spoken out to use their platforms to share the gospel and support the cause of God. As Christian influencers, they often rely on Instagram to serve as their platform to spread the message of Jesus and invite followers to become more involved in scripture. Christian influencers use their profile, stories, and lives as physical examples of God’s work and can also use their content to help young people feel at ease with Christianity and transition their faith journey. By taking this approach and connecting with followers about their faith and spiritual journey, many young influencers are able to create a space for discussion, growth, and support. This community is not afraid to tackle difficult conversations and challenge societal issues in the name of Jesus and God. As a result, Instagram has opened up a new avenue for these young influencers to use to serve a greater good and show the world the greater power of God’s love. Overall, through their positive and God-centered content, young influencers have been using Instagram as a tool to reach out and support others while also sharing the gospel. Using their influencer platform, they have provided a new and refreshing approach to faith-based conversations and a platform to spread the gospel of God to others. What is the best youth group in the Pan Handle area? That's hard to answer as 30A Florida is blessed with many great worship opportunities for teens. However, if you are in the Destin area, Shoreline Church is one of my favorites and where this beautiful girl attends. Shoreline offers their NEXT GEN service for 7th-12th grade students. You can find more about their Tribe Youth Group on Facebook. Are you ready to book your photo session? We have a full range of unique wardrobe items like this fun mermaid dress and even parachute dresses. Contact us at (850) 460-4437 or click the link below to fill out your session date request and we will reach back out to you!

- Senior Portraits What To Wear } For the Guys
Are you struggling with What to Wear for your Senior Portraits? Congratulations! You have found the perfect fashion blog for learning the top tips on how to dress for your Senior Portrait Session. Style Guide for Guys Senior Portraits What to wear for guys senior portraits? Here is my TOP styling tip on what to wear for Boy Senior Portraits. One of my favorite styles for men is the classic Black T. I suggest a form fitting PLAIN black t-shirt. Stay away from logos or any design on t-shirt as they will distract from the eye. We want to keep our focus of attention on our Senior Guy... keep the shirt simple and free from patterns. Don't forget to accessorize! YES - even the Senior Guys need to think about some props, or accessories, to add to their wardrobe. VERY IMPORTANT... while it seems silly for the guys to think of these items, when it comes time to actually have your images taken, these item will be very helpful to YOU! Sunglasses are an excellent item for any guy to bring to their senior photography session. As I mentioned before, props (example: sunglasses) are an excellent tool to help YOU feel more comfortable in-front of the camera. Sunglasses will give you something to do with your hands, you'd be surprised how many times you will ask "what do I do with my hands"? My answer will be... Hold on to your sunglasses and LOOK COOL! Another accessory item that is perfect to bring along... a button down shirt! This gives the guys a reason to flex them arms! Long sleeve or short sleeve button down shirts work perfect as a prop for Senior Guys when they are posing for their senior portraits. These items, along with some fun jokes by me, will help your senior feel at ease and relaxed when modeling for his senior portrait session. If you are looking for a simple, yet GQ MAGAZINE ( Gentleman's Quarterly ) inspired look, simply grab a soft, comfy, form fitting, short sleeve ,Black T-Shirt! Pair it with some faded worn jeans, Buckle is a great place for jeans, and you will be on track for this Top Gun fashion inspired feel. Don't forget the aviator sunglasses and a jean jacket or button down shirt! Or even go for an old fashion feel and find dad's ol' Bomber jacket! - Teens Personal Style | Peer Pressure
When the tween and teen years come upon us... the fashion choices look a little different than the pink unicorn t-shirt that got worn every other day-of-the-week... wayyyyyy back when. As tweens develop their Fashion "VYB", its hard to stay away from the pressures of 'peer-approved' trends and keep their own sense of style. ARE YOU a 30A VYBZ - ALL ACCESS - MEMBER? if you haven't sign up yet, click here now to get full access to the Teen 'Zeen Resisting the pressure to conform to teen fashion trends Unfortunately - it happens all too often... Trend-following versus personal style. when young people copy what their friends wear (or a fashion / beauty page recommends it ) , they may be following the tend - which is not the same as having their own VYB! Teens often say they want to express themselves and be unique, but when they stand in a group, they all look the same. Without guidance, tweens tend to follow the wrong fashion influencers rather than learning how to find their own personal style amongst the trends. At 30a VYBZ we coach teens and tweens to wear fashion styles that reflect their individual personality AND teach them how to feel comfortable. Celebrating each young persons individuality and helping them develop a positive relationship with their body and fashion will boost their confidence. >> The models on are site are everyday teens and tweens just like you! Apply now to be a model for Melonie Marie Photography and be featured in the 30A VYBZ Magazine! Does your body shape effect the style of clothing you can wear? YES - it sure does! But please remember that I'm talking about STYLE CUTS, not style vybz (or looks)... For example, everyone should have a Johnny Cash t-shirt in their wardrobe, even the guys! This shirt paired with a cute pair of jeans is the new adorable "band-tee" fashion vyb covering the media pages today. HOWEVER, not everyone can wear the same style cut of this shirt. Some have a crop top, some have a tank top, some have sleeves, some don't. So when shopping for that next favorite band Tee... think about the style cut and how it can accentuate your body shape (and vice versa). In the two images below - the Casting Call required a white/cream boho vyb - and can I get an amen - because they both rocked this fashion look. While one of the gals has the popular rectangle body shape, the other was more Pear. To flatter each of their body shapes, we placed one with in an off shoulder dress and the other in the a-line dress. While each of them are the same size, each of them have very different body shapes. How to choose and shop for the appropriate dress cut for your body shape is just one of the tips we coach each of clients when they model for the magazine. BUILD THE BUZZ Please help us Build the Buzz about a positive body image for teens and tweens by sharing this article and encouraging young adults and other tween/teen parents to follow us at www.30avybz.com PARENTS TIP: Value their opinion on personal styling It’s important to reinforce your child’s efforts to cultivate their sense of style and self-expression. Show that you value their opinion by involving them in your own fashion choices. Go through your wardrobes together to discover the items you both love and have fun trying different pieces on. Unique style spotting When you’re teaching your child about how to be themselves, make a game of noticing people who look cool, unique and confident. Together, you can chat about how this inspires you in your own fashion choices. Once your child sees real people being unique and having fun with fashion, they might feel more confident in dressing to please themselves.

Or a particular TV series like Star Trek? There are so many eras and movies that you can draw inspiration from. Make a list of shows, movies & eras that you and your family love. Do you have specific hobbies? Perhaps you are an animal lover, a sports fan or have a passion for fashion. Make a list of your interests and your theme might just jump out at you. Today on the blog I am excited to feature Miss Emma from Santa Rosa Beach Fl. She is one of my Creative Team Brand Ambassador and we were thrilled at the chance to team up with Austin Music Company for a 1970's Rock and Roll Music themed photo session. - Teen Guy Style | What to Wear Stylish Senior Portraits
Think casual and comfortable! When it comes to teen guys fashion, keeping comfort in mind is a top priority. They can look great, but if they are uncomfortable, they will only look great for 10 seconds. Today on the blog I am excited to feature one of my TOP 12 CREATIVE TEAM ambassadors, PB... aka Peanut Butter! If you haven't already... Click Play on the video above and be sure to follow us on Instagram and Youtube . Keep scrolling to read more about today's Teen Guys fashion vyb: Navy Blue Blazer paired with white t-shirt, jeans and hockey gear! PB has been in front of the camera since he was just a few days old and has modeled for projects with me (Melonie Marie Photography) for many years. This particular session was an important one as it marks the beginning of his High School Years. Get more information on our HIGH SCHOOL YEARS Teen Leadership Program. Send us an email or Text us at (850) 460-4437 As he embarks on his High School Career, we get the camera rolling. Over his Freshman year at Sandusky High School, we will do several different photo sessions with PB, each one featuring a cool fashion trend combined with one of his favorite sports... hockey or baseball. At the end of his Freshman year, we will design a 10x10 Heirloom album featuring his favorite images from over the year. While most photography concentrate on capturing senior photos, instead I take a different approach to high school photos. Instead, I think we should capture their entire high school career - from 9th grade through 12 grade. Teens change so much during their high school years, I love seeing all 4 albums on display at their open house / graduation party and remember all the moments over the years, and all the changes, both physically and mentally. What to Wear - Teen Guys Fashion - Guys Senior Portraits As our little stud muffins go from 'momma's little boy', to being 5 inches taller than us, basically overnight, dressing them becomes more of a challenge. When choosing wardrobe styles for your teen guy, remember to keep it comfortable! While girls will suffer through uncomfortable wardrobe pieces to look great, guys will toss an uncomfortable shirt, shoe or even sock out the window as soon as they can, so don't waste your time (or money) shopping for pieces they won't feel comfortable in. On that note, keep in mind that comfort CAN also be stylish! For this look, I wanted to create something that would look good on a dinner date or at family/social events, but still keep comfort a priority. We opted for a Navy Blue mens Blazer from Kohls and paired it with a plain white, super soft T, jeans and shoes from Cole Haan. This Blazer is a perfect item for any teen guy to have in his closet as it can be used for both formal and casual events. This would even be a stylish look for a school dance. scroll images to view gallery We also got to use some of his hockey gear - which was very sweaty and gross since he just got back from practice! LOL. But I was brave and set the gear up for some amazing shots showing off one of his favorite sports to play! BE THE FIRST TO KNOW... SIGN UP FOR THE BLOG
